A workshop with Eva Karczag

The foundation of Trisha Brown’s movement style is a highly-sensitized physicality that explores the body’s mechanics and potentials. Eva Karczag, a master teacher of Alexander technique and former TBDC dancer, leads an in-depth workshop of the somatic practice that enables the fully realized movement in Brown’s dance. Following the workshop is Play and Replay at 7pm with Eva Karczag and Lisa Kraus, who discuss and demonstrate their experiences of dancing Brown’s work.
