A curatorial overview of Trisha Brown’s work as it connects to the performances at the Barnes Foundation and at Bryn Mawr College to the work on view in Trisha Brown: (Re)framing collaboration, an exhibition of the art of Trisha Brown and her collaborators. The talk will contextualize Brown as a seminal figure of Judson Dance Theater, a choreographic icon, and collaborator with artists of the post-modern avant-garde.

Gallery talk is a part of Triple Feature, an evening of events at Bryn Mawr College starting with a performance of Floor of the Forest (free) at 5:30pm and performance of Proscenium Works, 1979–2011 (ticketed) at 8pm; performances by Trisha Brown Dance Company. Following the talk, refreshments will be served.
